Dear Mount Shasta Goddess Temple,

Spring is coming! Our Temple gathers annually at Spring Equinox to share in a weekend of wisdom-sharing and magic. It is also a sacred time for graduating Sibyls and Priestesses to take their Vows! If you would like to attend the Temple's Annual Spring Cosmogenetrix Retreat, please read these details and register for our gathering below. This Retreat is open to all Mandala Members of the Temple.

Schedule

The overview for our retreat is below, with options for both ONLINE and IN-PERSON attendance. More specific details will be sent to all who register.

Wednesday, March 19: Arrive on Wednesday night to settle in and enjoy an evening of sister time and crafting offerings to take out into nature the next day.

Thursday, March 20: Official retreat activities begin at 11am with an Opening Ceremony followed by a day of self-care, purification, and divination. Weather permitting, we will go up on the mountain or out to the river to make offerings and then spend the afternoon browsing crystal shops, having lunch, socializing, and relaxing. At 6pm, dinner will be provided and we will enjoy an evening of divination. Then, before we head to bed, the Collegium Sibyllae will prepare a Dream Incubation Temple for all in attendance and online.

Friday, March 21: At 10am we will have a ritual session for Flight of the Skydancer graduates and Council of Wisewomen members, and a separate ritual session for all other attendees to help prepare a special talisman charged with the power of the Triple Fates. At 1pm, we will head over to our private weekend location to kick off the Cosmogenetrix presentations and activities from 2pm-6pm. Dinner will be provided. After dinner, we will have a ceremony to honor the Priestesses & Sibyls as they take their first year and final vows. There is also a sauna and infrared sauna available onsite for those who prefer a quieter evening activity.

Saturday, March 22: We will enjoy the full day of Cosmogenetrix Symposium presentations, including all presentations, workshops, and rituals. Continental breakfast, lunch, and dinner will all be provided. In the evening there will be a beautiful Spring Equinox Ritual honoring the Sisters Three: the Fates that guide us through portal initiations.

Sunday, March 23: We will gather for a final brunch before departing for our homes.

In-Person

All in-person attendees receive a goodie bag with items to use during the retreat.

Food and Lodging

Each woman secures her own lodging for this event. Air BnB is a good choice for lodging in either Dunsmuir or Mount Shasta. I also like the Mossbrae Hotel, Cave Springs, Shasta Inn, and the Strawberry Valley Inn.

Some women might want to coordinate shared Air BnBs, while others might prefer having more personal space. If you’d like to share space with someone, please comment on the registration form.

Several group meals are included in your Retreat fee:
Dinner: Thursday, Friday, Saturday
Breakfast & Lunch: Saturday
Brunch: Sunday

Locations

This year we have two locations for our gathering: Yeshe’s house and Simone’s house. Yeshe’s house is small and cozy for our more intimate activities, and Simone’s house is a large gathering space with a separate private temple building, an infrared sauna, and a regular sauna.

Spirit of Service

Please offer 2 hours of assistance during the course of the weekend, either on Set-Up/Take Down of Decorations and altars, or on Meal Crew. Please indicate which one you prefer on the Registration form.

Marketplace

We can set up a small marketplace at Simone’s house, so that if you make your own crafts or have offerings, you can bring them to barter, trade, and sell. We will also have a showcase of Priestess and Sibyl crafts and services during brunch on Sunday. It's such a pleasant part of the experience to go home with a few items lovingly handcrafted by our sisters as a token of remembrance. Please indicate on your registration form if you’d like a small space for vending your wares during the event.

Magickal Swap

Bring items of magickal clothing, altar gear, books, or other related things and we will set up a free swap at Cosmogenetrix! The remaining goods will be donated to the thrift shop after the weekend is over.

Online

All online attendees receive a goodie bag with items to use during the retreat.

We will broadcast each day's activities for our sisters who are at a distance, with online Zoom sessions.

All Cosmogenetrix presentations will be recorded. The additional rituals and gatherings will not be recorded, to preserve the magic of the moment.

In-person tickets for the Annual Priestess Retreat include your goodie bag, all activities, 6 meals, and attendance at Cosmogenetrix Symposium. The fee to attend in person is $333.

Online tickets for the Annual Priestess Retreat include your goodie bag mailed to you, all activities, and online attendance at Cosmogenetrix Symposium. The fee to attend online is $111.
