By Request

At the request of a Temple member, Priestess Yeshe has created a 5-day class to help Goddess devotees understand the importance, relevance, and application of key dharma principles, with an eye toward integrating the philosophies and beneficial nature of Buddhism into your Goddess path.

Day 1 — The Khandro Principle & Bliss–Emptiness

This opening class establishes the view. What does the word “Khandro” mean, and how does the divine feminine exemplify and embody the bliss-emptiness of Buddhanature? The Khandro Principle as awakened awareness in feminine, relational, and dynamic form. Bliss–emptiness as the union of openness and vivid presence, not pleasure seeking. The experiential ground of Goddess dharma informed by Buddhist realization.

Day 2 — Dharma as Lived Law & Cosmic Order

This class defines dharma precisely. What do we mean when we say “dharma” and how is it understood cosmologically and in practice? What is your real work as a devotee of Goddess? Dharma as the way reality functions and the way one aligns life with that truth. Bridging Buddhist dharma with Goddess dharam as right relationship with body, land, time, ancestry, and ethical responsibility. Dharma as coherence rather than belief.

Day 3 — The Four Noble Truths & Samsara

This session offers diagnostic clarity. What are the Four Noble Truths and why are they important to Goddess devotees living in this world (samsara)? This class may be helpful for those who struggle with depression and anxiety. The Four Noble Truths as a practical system for recognizing suffering, its causes, its resolution, and the necessity of a path. A clear explanation of samsara as patterned confusion rather than a world to reject or escape. Liberation without withdrawal.

Day 4 — Wisdom and Method (Prajñā & Upāya)

This class explains how awakening functions. How do we bring together the transcendent wisdom of universal awareness with our day-to-day lives through ritual and sacred practice? Mantra, yantra, & tantra. Wisdom as insight into reality and method as the capacity to respond skillfully within circumstances. Emphasis on their inseparability and exploration of how compassion, ritual, leadership, and service arise when wisdom informs action.

Day 5 — The Eightfold Noble Path as Integrated Practice

This closing class presents the Eightfold Path as a complete architecture for awakened living rather than a checklist. The bodhisattvas cracked the code on how to create heaven on earth, and they did it not only for themselves but for us all. And we can do it, too. How view, ethics, speech, livelihood, attention, and stability support Goddess-centered service. Framing the Khandro Padme path as a lived vow carried into ordinary life.

About the Instructor

Yeshe Meryemana Matthews began practicing Buddhist meditation at the age of 4 with her mother. At age 13 she became interested in Tibetan Buddhism, history, and culture, a journey which has continued onward through her adult life, including study with numerous lineages and teachers, refuge vows, voluntarism, and pilgrimage to Tibet in 2014 and 2016. Yeshe is both a spiritual and secular Buddhist: a devotee of the path and a student of its philosophies. She sees the dharma as an antidote to the violence, self-centeredness, consumerism, and extractive, aggressive tendencies that cause pain in our world. She is not a guru, she is not a Lama, and she holds no special qualifications to teach this class; she is simply a lifelong learner who wishes to hold a focalized space with others who share or are curious about how Buddhism and the Goddess path can complement each other.
